KARIBU SANA! Welcome to Malaika Project, a multidisciplinary community based project in Nyamuswa, Tanzania. Nyamuswa is a small town just west of the famous Serengeti National Park. We work in partnership with local people, helping to improve living conditions from the ground up

with local contributions and an international collaboration. The community decides for themselves what their priorities are, demonstrates a commitment with local resources, and Malaika Project brings in volunteers and funding towards the common goals of reducing mortality, improving literacy, and helping the local economy to grow. The Malaika Project works with the entire community regardless of ethnicity, religion, or politics through both private and public collaboration. The hope of the Malaika Project is to improve local capacity through these partnerships to make lasting improvements in the quality of life of community members.
